service, listed itinerary, group trip, retreat, or bespoke travel planning service, you agree to be legally
bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use
our website or services.
Connoisseur of Luxury operates as a luxury travel planning and experience curation brand, offering group
travel experiences, retreats, bespoke itineraries, and concierge-style travel services. We work with
third-party suppliers including, but not limited to, hotels, airlines, transport providers, tour operators,
and local experience partners to deliver travel experiences.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the website, including browsers, customers, clients,
contributors of content, and any other users accessing our services.
We reserve the right to update, amend, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior
notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website. Your continued use of our
website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Services Provided
Connoisseur of Luxury provides luxury travel planning, curated group travel experiences, retreats, and
concierge-style services. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Curated group trips and hosted travel experiences
- Luxury retreats and themed travel programmes
- Bespoke travel planning and itinerary design
- Accommodation recommendations and bookings
- Flights, transfers, tours, excursions, and activities arranged through third-party suppliers
- Concierge services and destination support
- Travel inspiration, content, and recommendations displayed on our website or social platforms
All services are subject to availability and may vary depending on destination, supplier, season, and
external factors beyond our control.
Connoisseur of Luxury acts as a travel planner and experience curator, not as the principal provider of
transportation, accommodation, or activities. Many components of your trip are delivered by independent
third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, and local experience
partners. These suppliers operate under their own terms and conditions.
While we take care to select reputable suppliers and deliver high-quality experiences, we do not own,
manage, or control third-party providers and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, delays,
changes, or failures.
Any images, descriptions, itineraries, pricing, and promotional materials provided on our website or social
channels are for illustrative purposes only and may be subject to change. Final details will be confirmed
at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to modify, substitute, or withdraw any service, itinerary, accommodation, activity, or
experience where reasonably necessary due to availability, safety concerns, operational requirements, or
circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, suitable alternatives of equal value will be offered.
3. Payments & Deposits
All prices displayed by Connoisseur of Luxury are quoted in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated and are subject
to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking, including group trips, retreats, and bespoke
travel planning services. The deposit amount will be clearly stated at the time of booking. No reservation
is confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing by Connoisseur of Luxury.
Deposits secure your place and are used to cover upfront costs with third-party suppliers. For this reason,
deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to changes in
personal circumstances, illness, or inability to travel.
Payment Plans & Balances
Where a payment plan is offered, the remaining balance must be paid in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Full payment is required by the final balance due date stated at the time of booking.
Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of any amounts
paid. We reserve the right to release your place on a group trip if payments are not received by the agreed
deadlines.
Final Payment
All bookings must be paid in full prior to travel. Failure to pay the full balance by the specified
deadline may result in cancellation of your booking, with deposits and any payments already made remaining
non-refundable.
Payment Methods
We accept payment via secure third-party payment providers, including but not limited to Stripe, Klarna,
PayPal, PayPal Pay in 3, and bank transfer, depending on availability. Any additional fees charged by
payment providers are the responsibility of the customer.
Where third-party “buy now, pay later” or instalment services are used, you enter into a separate
agreement with that provider, and their terms and conditions apply. Connoisseur of Luxury is not
responsible for decisions, approvals, or disputes relating to third-party finance providers.
Price Changes
Prices are subject to change due to factors outside our control, including supplier pricing, exchange
rates, taxes, or availability. Once a booking is confirmed and a deposit is paid, the price for that
booking will not change unless required by law or supplier-imposed increases, which will be communicated
where applicable.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations by the Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, you must notify Connoisseur of Luxury in writing. The
date we receive your written cancellation will determine the applicable terms.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This includes, but is
not limited to, personal circumstances, illness, travel restrictions, visa issues, changes in work
commitments, or failure to attend.
For cancellations made after the deposit has been paid, any additional payments made may also be
non-refundable depending on the terms imposed by third-party suppliers.
Changes by Customer
Any request to change dates, destinations, names, or services after a booking has been confirmed is
subject to availability and supplier approval. Changes are not guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for any amendments requested after confirmation. Any
costs imposed by third-party suppliers as a result of changes will be passed on to the customer.
Changes or Cancellations by Connoisseur of Luxury
In rare circumstances, we may need to modify or cancel a trip, itinerary, accommodation, or service due to
reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to supplier issues, safety concerns, low group
numbers, force majeure events, or operational requirements.
Where reasonably possible, we will offer an alternative of comparable value or provide the option to
transfer your booking to a future date or trip. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance
with our Refund Policy.
Refunds
Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to the specific circumstances of the cancellation and the terms
of third-party suppliers involved.

5. Liability & Responsibility
Connoisseur of Luxury acts as a travel planner and experience curator and is not the owner, operator, or
provider of transportation, accommodation, excursions, activities, or other travel-related services. These
services are provided by independent third-party suppliers, each operating under their own terms and
conditions.
While we take reasonable care in selecting reputable suppliers, Connoisseur of Luxury shall not be liable
for any loss, damage, injury, illness, accident, delay, disruption, expense, or inconvenience caused by
the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transport
providers, tour operators, activity providers, or local partners.
Travel Risks & Personal Responsibility
Travel involves inherent risks. By booking with Connoisseur of Luxury, you acknowledge and accept
responsibility for your own health, safety, conduct, and well-being during travel.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you are medically fit to travel
- Obtaining adequate travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, delays, and activities
undertaken
- Complying with local laws, customs, and regulations at all destinations
- Following safety instructions provided by suppliers, guides, or hosts
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connoisseur of Luxury shall not be liable for any indirect,
consequential, or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, loss of
income, or emotional distress.
Our total liability, where legally applicable, shall be limited to the amount paid directly to
Connoisseur of Luxury for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Force Majeure
Connoisseur of Luxury shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of services caused by
events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics,
government actions, strikes, civil unrest, weather conditions, or transportation disruptions.
6. Changes to Itineraries
Changes to Itineraries
All itineraries provided by Connoisseur of Luxury are carefully curated and planned in advance; however,
all itineraries are subject to change.
Changes may be required due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to availability,
weather conditions, operational requirements, safety concerns, supplier changes, local regulations, force
majeure events, or unforeseen circumstances.
Connoisseur of Luxury reserves the right to:
- Modify the order of activities
- Substitute accommodations, transport, or experiences with alternatives of a similar standard
- Adjust schedules, timings, or routes
- Remove or replace specific elements of an itinerary where reasonably necessary
Where changes are required, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any substitutions are of
comparable value and quality and that the overall experience of the trip is maintained.
Minor changes do not entitle the customer to a refund. Significant changes will be communicated as soon as
reasonably possible, and options, where applicable, will be handled in line with our Cancellations,
Changes & Refunds section and Refund Policy.
By booking with Connoisseur of Luxury, you acknowledge and accept that flexibility is an essential part of
travel and that itinerary adjustments may be necessary to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience.
7. Governing Law
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the
services provided by Connoisseur of Luxury, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of England and Wales.
While Connoisseur of Luxury provides services to clients worldwide, the courts of England and Wales shall
have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising from these Terms & Conditions, to the
extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under local laws in the country
where you reside.
